Who am I?
Hey there, I’m Shaleeni…
A versatile performer born in South Africa, I am celebrated for my captivating stage and screen roles. I moved to New York to begin my studies and hone my craft, where I lived and worked for six years.
I have had the honor of performing for esteemed figures like Nelson Mandela, Prince Edward and Princess Sophie, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and Prince Burns Ncamashe.
After my education, I excelled in theatrical productions on and off Broadway such as Mamma Mia, Footloose, Kinky Boots, The Wedding Singer, and Seth’s Cabaret Show. This paved the way for roles in commercials, films, and TV series.
My credits include Deep State, Orange Is the New Black, Mysteries of Laura, Lucifer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Black Mirror. I have worked with renowned actors like Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Jodie Foster, Victoria Hamilton, Mark Strong, Stellan Skarsgård, Denzel Washington, Tom Ellis, and Oscar-winning director Darrell Roodt to name a few.
